The Artist
About Tom

Tom became acquainted with glass blowing as a young boy while living in Ohio and occasionally day tripping with his parents to different glass houses in Ohio, West Virginia and New York.
Years later, while visiting an art show with his wife his interests were re-awakened.
After several years of classes and renting time at a local studio he was asked to teach beginning and intermediate level classes. Later, after retiring from his full time environmental career he
renovated an older building near Warrenton, Virginia for his studio, gallery and teaching facility.
Tom served on the board of the National Capital Art Glass Guild. His work can be found in a number of galleries around Virginia, Maryland and the District. He has work in the oldest yacht club in Ireland, and was commissioned to make replacement inserts for a nineteen hundreds vase at the White House.
AJ Devil Dog

That’s my name. I think we all know who’s running the show here. If I didn’t bark at everyone that came through the door, Tom would still be facing the other way making all that cool stuff. With all that noise, it’s no wonder I have to tell him someone's here to see him.
I love kids, and pretend to be scary with everyone else. So, if you want to get in past my extreme gaurd dog exterior, your going to have to bring your kids, or at least a treat!
Oh, someone’s here, let’s hope they have a T-R-E-A-T. Yes, I can spell too, just don't tell anyone.

PS: There is a new kid in town his name is "T" for Trouble. That's all he gives me is trouble. Poking, nudging, leaning on, always wanting to play. I don't have time for this, I have a shop to run, and an owner to keep busy!
I'll post some pictures of him getting in trouble soon!
